Step 2: Contact Us by Phone/Email - Initial Discovery Process
When we first come into communication our mission is to listen to you and understand your needs particularly the problem(s) you want to resolve. You at the same time begin to get to know us. It is important for us to understand your current business situation and get an idea of what you are looking for. We send you some background information and follow up on this with you. Most of this is over the phone or email. We do all this systematically.
Step 3: Face to Face Meeting(s)
We may require a few calls until it is very clear either way that you think we can help. If so then we take the next step: a face to face meeting. Before we do that we get you to capture a summary of your main issues and forward to us. We already have listened deeply to these but it’s good to reconcile these so that our meetings are productive not just meet and greet or otherwise time wasters.
The purpose of the meeting is to confirm the issues you want to solve, verify that the direction of solution meets your desires. We like to see the “flow” of the business and meet key people. If you want we then continue to discuss the "how" of the solution (in broad terms), the time frame should you want to proceed, your investment and the terms of engagement.
Meeting Process
Stage 1- Verify and discuss your current situation face to face
- Take a tour of your workplace to understand workflows and get a feel for the work environment
- Explore further the potential for you and the business
if at this point you want to proceed further we either schedule a 2nd meeting or take a brief intermission
Stage 2
- Recap and be crystal clear on what is the core problem to be resolved
- Verify the direction of solution that delivers the outcomes you want
- Identify any unplanned side effects such as sales orders not able to keep up with new found capacity
- Identify any obstacles that block the start of the solution implementation and find ways to resolve them
- Ensure that other key decision makers are on board with you to go foward with the solution implementation
- Provide you with a Fixed Price Fee once we agree on the outcomes, implementation timeframe and resource requirements.
