2. VISION: Consensus, Empowerment and Skills Acquisition (2 days)
- Gain consensus on what to change and the direction of a solution
- Deliver education to team members to foster buy in
- Deliver training to build skills in developing the actual customised solution
- Empower everyone to be part of the change process
3. PROTOTYPE SOLUTION: Prototype Solution Design, Communicate Implementation Plan(2 - 3 days)
- Confirm consensus on what to change to, site preparation
- Facilitate prototype solution design and testing by your own team including implementing new measures
- Overcome any obstacles and negative side effects during solution design
- Build project implementation plan and communicate it
4. SOLUTION INSTALLATION: Rapid Solution Installation, Measurement of Results and Flag Early Wins (5 Days)
- Rapid Solution Installation and measurement
- Replace existing planning and execution methods (Operations, Projects or Inventory Management), realign measurement/KPI's
- Commence immediate monitoring and measure results
- Share early wins to demonstrate solution works and is correct
- Adjust prototype
5. IMPLEMENTATION: Implementaion Phase, Continuous Improvement, Ownership, Deeper Knowledge till solution sticks (30 - 90 Days)
- Deepen knowledge and spread learning (learn by doing)
- Develop Buffer management to keep system stable and reliable with shorter lead times less WIP and 100% DDP
- Build the ongoing continuous improvement processes (POOGI) to keep your business ever flourishing
- Apply other methodologies e.g. Lean and Six Sigma as appropriate
- Spread training the practical basics to others as required
- Provide education and training in Throughput Accounting and Measurement to others in the business
- Make the changes stick – your own team design and run the system so they own it. We test this
6. ONGOING SUPPORT:
- We follow up on a regular basis till the system is stable and reliable results are achieved. We test that the solution works virtually "hands free". We test system reliability and stability during this transition phase. We teach your people how to run the system reliably without stress. We test that ownership is fully transferred to your own people. A TOC3 practitioner will be on site as required to help bed in the solution till it is.
All implementations receive follow-up and support.
a. Support… Daily and weekly monitoring via email, telephone and Skype for a further 90 days or till no longer required
b. Follow Up… On site checking and adjusting as required during the 3 months following the implementation
c. Optional Ongoing Maintenance Program... Following project "sign off" you can secure a regular monthly or quarterly maintenance and support program to meet your needs. The value is that for some clients after a period of time they like to check that their systems are running in peak condition.
